Four Chagall Films - Chagall's Light
In this series of four short films, synaesthetic composer Deborah Pritchard combines her music with Marc Chagall's stained glass windows at All Saints', Tudeley.
Filmed by Theresa Thomas, each piece is inspired by Chagall's radiant light, exploring varying windows, colours, textures and themes to bring a sense of hope.
Performed by violinist Greta Mutlu, cellist Richard Harwood and harpist Gabriella Jones, with sound recorded by Adaq Khan.
The music is from Deborah's coloristic chamber works Chagall's Light and Couleurs Céleste, which both premiered at Thomas Kemp's Music@Malling Festival.
